Anthony B. Ferraro is both an Attorney and a Certified Public Accountant. He has a Master’s Degree in Taxation and has dedicated more than 38 years to helping people in the Chicago metropolitan area. Mr Ferraro is a VA accredited attorney. He deals with all 3 phases of our lives, consisting of delivering services in traditional estate planning, senior estate planning, long-term care planning, and estate, probate and trust administration. Mr. Ferraro delivers seamless services with his knowledge, experience, and resources to every client who walks though the door. Mr. Ferraro has dedicated years of practice and study to assist clients in their maturing years, senior years, and post-death years. Mr. Ferraro concentrates on delivering strategies that are both legal and ethical. His caring is exemplified by his straightforward approach and candor. What distinguishes Mr. Ferraro and his firm is their willingness to ask prospective clients what it is that concerns them — what “keeps them awake at night.” Listening is the key to the beginning of good counseling. Through his trained and capable listening skills, Mr. Ferraro delivers peace of mind and informs his clients about how smart elder law attorneys obtain seamless care for their own families throughout all phases of life.
Mr. Ferraro received his Bachelor’s of Commerce in Accountancy, his Master’s Degree in Taxation, and his Law Degree from DePaul University, in 1973, 1976 and 1982, respectively. Mr. Ferraro is a past president of the Justinian Society of Lawyers and is a past member in the AARP panel of participating attorneys. He is also a member of the Commercial Panel of Arbitrators for the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Ferraro provides frequent workshops and classroom lectures to doctors, nurses, discharge planners, case workers, social workers, and health professsionals from nursing homes, assisted living facilities and home care agencies. His presentations consist of teaching about Medicare changes, Medicaid changes, the Affordable Care Act, Obama Care, DRA and SMART Act changes to Illinois Medicaid and other topical areas, such as “Don’t Go Broke in the Aging Process” and “The Elder Care Journey”. He lectures throughout metropolitan and suburban Chicago. Mr. Ferraro is a member of the Illinois Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, WealthCounsel and ElderCounsel. Mr. Ferraro has been a participant in bar association discussions and has been on panels of various experts in dealing with the issues of aging.
